Mingau , bassist of Ultraje a Rigor , after more than a year hospitalized at Hospital São Luiz, in the South Zone of São Paulo, was discharged last Monday, the 7th. His treatment will be carried out in a rehabilitation clinic.
After being shot in the head in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, in September 2023, Mingau underwent several surgeries, including a cranioplasty – a surgery to restore the protective function of the skull – in July.
On her social media, Isabella Aglio , Mingau's daughter, commented: “We thank all the professionals who have cared for my father so far – doctors, nurses, physiotherapists… Now we are ready for this new phase of treatment.” She highlights her father's strength and persistence, saying that he “continues to teach us to have patience.”
Mingau celebrated his 57th birthday on September 3rd, when he was honored by the members of Ultraje a Rigor on their social media.
